Guy attends Armistice Day remembrance in Prudhoe

Prudhoe MP, Guy Opperman has attended an Armistice Day service and laid a wreath to pay his tributes to the fallen.

Mr Opperman laid a wreath alongside residents in Prudhoe to commemorate the community’s fallen and their sacrifice in the First, Second World War and in war since.

Hexham MP Guy Opperman has praised ‘human ingenuity’ after the UK’s medicines regulator approved the first pill designed to treat symptomatic Covid.

The tablet - molnupiravir - will be given twice a day to vulnerable patients recently diagnosed with the disease.
