“It was great to be at the Hexham Auction Mart on Friday morning for meetings with NFU North East, local farmers and a drop in surgery working with Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs officials to help local farmers. If I missed you, please get in touch with any issues you would like help with.”
Anna Simpson, NFU North East said:
“The farming surgery was a great opportunity to come and speak to your local MP, Defra and your NFU representatives. It gives farmers the chance to ask questions, air views and find out what is going on both locally and nationally. We hope to host similar events in the future so please keep an eye out for dates.”
