We recently celebrated Liberation Day in the Falklands 40 years on. We will never forget those who fight, and sometimes die, for freedom.
I was honoured to recently visit the local Regiment, the 3rd Regiment Royal Horse Artillery at Albemarle Barracks.
It was a privilege to have discussions with the people who keep us safe. The 3RHA currently have 300 personnel serving with NATO colleagues on the Estonian border with Russia, deterring further aggression from Putin.
I look forward to their military parade through Hexham, which is taking place on Saturday 16th July.
