Guy Opperman MP news: Adderlane Academy Community Champions!
Prudhoe MP, Guy Opperman alongside Cllr Gordon Stewart has presented his community champion award to pupils in Year 4 at Adderlane Academy for their outstanding work, litter picking in the community.
As Keep Britain Tidy start their Great British Spring Clean, Mr Opperman praised pupils for their brilliant community work.
Guy Opperman MP said:
‘Adderlane Academy is a vital part of Prudhoe.
It is brilliant their hard work has been rewarded by the local community.

Adderlane Academy Headteacher, Mrs. Potts said:
“It is absolutely fantastic to be recognised as Community Champions for the work we do in our local community. We have always been proud of our ability to make a positive impact and the children always take a proactive approach to issues both globally and on our doorstep. Litter picking is close to our heart and we see how our work fits in with all of teams of litter pickers across the thriving town of Prudhoe”.
Cllr Gordon Stewart said:
