Hexham MP, Guy Opperman has visited the Bridge Northumberland Employment Hub in Haltwhistle.
Bridge Northumberland helps people in rural settings overcome barriers to training, education and work.
Residents can take part if they are:
- not in work, education or training
- aged 16 up to retirement age
- live in Northumberland.
It’s free and entirely voluntary. Since 2018 Bridge Northumberland have successfully supported over 1,600 Northumberland residents to get a positive outcome.
Guy Opperman MP said:
‘Bridge Northumberland are doing brilliant work to support local people overcome the challenges of getting into work.
It was great to catch up with the team in Haltwhistle and discuss the support that is available.’
